At Rentabartender.ca we plan on being the best in the business. We’re committed to making every event better than the last. For that we need a team of dependable and dedicated bartenders.
The problem is, we sometimes have to scramble at the last minute because a freelance bartender is unable to fulfil their commitment. The end result can be a less than ideal situation and a frustrated client.
We know that life can be unpredictable and we get that the reason you got into freelance bartending was because of the flexibility of the schedule. It boils down to this though, when a bartender doesn’t show up for a shift we take a hit to our reputation and it puts our company’s future at risk.
We want to be upfront and honest.
In a perfect world we wouldn’t need a deposit insurance, but real world experience has taught us that a little added incentive protects our company so we can keep providing great side-hustle opportunities for great bartenders like you.
By leaving a deposit with us you’re telling us that you’re committed and have a strong sense of responsibility.
If at some point you decide to walk away from the freelance bartending world you’ll get your deposit back in full.
The great thing about participating in our deposit insurance system is that you get to jump to the front of the line when it comes times to staff events.
We’ll give you priority consideration. If you’re willing to show that kind of belief in our brand we want to return the favour. We believe that reliable bartenders deserve to be rewarded with great opportunities.
Chances are your employer at your 9 to 5 has a two week hold back on your wages. It’s standard practice. This is our version of that.
