Questions

You've Got Questions, We've Got Cocktails!

A couple of notes regarding our services (we get these questions a lot, so we figured we would be proactive and let everyone know!)
A standard bartender is 40/hr, with a 5 hour minimum.
A mixologist is 500/6 hours, And needs at least an hour to prep, Depending on the size of the crowd. We often get the question about the difference between a bartender and a mixologist; we have created this resource to explain the difference

The difference is between drinks, and cocktails.
It’s a vodka-soda vs a blackberry margarita.
But the biggest difference Is in the ‘calibre’ of staff. Our better guys have the skill-set And are actually “industry”, As opposed to event-staff Who are just “weekenders”

We also offer servers! When booking with us, please keep this in mind. No need to contact a separate service for servers. Much easier to keep it all under one roof, so to speak.

We often get the question of how much an event will cost. This depends, of course, on the size of the crowd and the length of the event.

In order to properly staff your event, we recommend the following ratios for staff:

For bartenders and servers, we have found a 50 to 2 ratio to be effective for us to provide the best service for your event: 1 server (optional) and 1 bartender for every 50 guests.

For mixologists, since the drinks are more complex and take more time to make, we have found a 35-40 to 1 ratio to be effective. Please keep this in mind as we talk through planning your event.

Other Questions We Often Receive From Clients:

Q: I'll need servers in addition to bartenders / mixologists. What will they be able to do at the event?

A. They are a set of “hands” and will help with what ever needs to be done, from setting up the buffet tables, to serving food/drinks, and keeping everything clean and “sexy”.

Q: I've paid the deposit for the event. How do I pay the remainder of the balance?

Cash. To the Head bartender/staff. This is due upon request, and should NOT be left to the very end of the night.

Q: How do I pay the deposit?

A. We take a deposit by etransfer, or we can send an invoice.

Q: Is there a contract for your services?

A. While there is no contract, we do require a 50% non refundable deposit upon booking.
